My name is Tom and I've been a big fan of model locomotives ever since I received my first model train set from my grandfather when I was 8 years old. I still remember spending much of the evening fascinated by the complexity of those first model railroad locomotives.
Model train locomotives were always my favorite part of a train set.
For the years I've been passionate about creating beautiful model train layouts, and I recently gave my grandson his first model train set. I asked my son to create this site to help feed my passion, and to provide a meeting place for everyone who loves model trains my passion could talk about model trains, buy model trains at a great price, and sell their trains.
